Benefits of Exercise.

Research has shown that participating in structured exercise is highly beneficial for individuals living with a chronic respiratory condition. In fact, it has been recognised as one of the best things you can do to help maintain physical fitness, improve wellbeing and reduce the severity of symptoms such as breathlessness.

There are many respiratory conditions including but not limited to: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). It is known these conditions can play havoc with a person’s activities of daily living and ability to be physically active- all of which would benefit from a tailored program by one of our Mend Exercise Physiologists.
